ABOUT - music recording and live mixing engineer

I have been an audio engineer/ producer/ mixer involved with recording rock, alternative, grunge, punk, alt-country and hawaiian music for about 14 years and mixing live shows for around 7 years. I have provided recording expertise for artists such as Grant Lee Phillips, Ok Go, The Presidents Of The USA, Brandi Carlile, Zeke, Alta May, Robert Fripp, Mastodon, Duff McKagen, Sue Quigley, Hardison, The Briefs, Ruston Mire, Amber Pacific, Jeremy Enigk, Maktub, Damien Jurado, Mudhoney, The Minus 5, Peter Buck, Alex Woodard and many more.

The services I provide include: studio and live recording, on location recording, live sound mixing, online mixing and mastering, and home studio consultation.

When you work with me as a producer/ engineer/ mixer, you can rest assured that you are going to get taken care of in any studio or live environment. I have been recording and mixing music about half of my life and I know my way around any studio. Typically I will come in at the beginning of the session and tune the drums if needed and choose the best mics and outboard gear to use for any given recording project. Techniques proven over the years coupled with well chosen audio gear will get you sounds that you absolutely cannot get anywhere else.
